Financial Support

Apply for help fixing your farm cats!

The Fix Is In is now offering financial support to spay/neuter outdoor, free-roaming cats. The process is simple:

  1. Schedule appointments for your cat surgeries at a clinic of your choice (see list of low cost programs below);
  2. Complete an application form for financial support;
  3. After the surgeries, submit the records and receipts from the clinic for reimbursement;
  4. A check is sent to you!

Apply for help with TNR project!

This request may be made by any individual or organization facilitating Trap-Neuter-Release efforts for colony cats in Wisconsin. Complete all questions. Filling out this application does not guarantee funding. Allow 2-3 weeks for a response.

A New Role

After 10 years of running a low cost spay/neuter clinic, the difficult decision was made in July 2022 to close the clinic due to staffing challenges. We are proud that 42,450 cats and dogs were spayed or neutered during that 10 year run.

As a non-profit organization, The Fix Is In will continue supporting spay/neuter in Wisconsin. In order to do this, financial support must be secured. We have applied to the Department of Transportation to have a specialty license plate available for purchase, with $25 of each plate/renewal coming to us. These funds will be made available to support spay/neuter programs offered by humane societies and to individuals. During the one year development period for the license plate, we will be designing programs for dispersing funds. In the meantime, The Fix Is In has limited funds available to help farm cats (see information at left).
